Patrick J. W. Chagnon
Manager, Corporate Intelligence & Investigation

With a combined 29 years of Military and Law Enforcement experience, Patrick J. W. Chagnon brings a wealth of knowledge and resources to the SSC, Inc. management team.

Serving 22 years within the Connecticut State Police, in several investigative units such as Major Crimes and the Statewide Organized Crime Squad, he also served on multiple federal task forces and was a lead investigator in a major financial money laundering investigation.

Mr. Chagnon also has broad management experience. He has served as the top law enforcement official in a police department in northern Connecticut, and as the interim Police Chief for the State Capitol Police Department, facilitating the formation of that new department. Prior to joining SSC, Inc. Mr. Chagnon was assigned to the Office of Counter Terrorism and served as the state coordinator facilitating the counter terrorism training programs for Connecticut's law enforcement community and private sector .

Mr. Chagnon is recognized by federal DHS as a certified trainer and subject matter expert in curriculum development. He has been a lead instructor since 2004 for a national counter terrorism training program titled "Prevention & Response to Suicide Bombing Incident", a course offered to first responder management throughout the country.

Mr. Chagnon has received numerous awards throughout his career and is a participating member in various professional law enforcement and security organizations including the American Society of Industrial Safety and Security, The International Association for Counterterrorism & Security Professionals and The Connecticut Chiefs of Police Association.
